In the control group, there is basically no green fluorescence, while the number of TUNEL-positive cells is larger in the I/R and I/R+TIMP2 groups compared with that in the control group. Furthermore, the number of TUNEL-positive cells is significantly larger in the I/R+TIMP2 group than that in the I/R group. In contrast, the number of TUNEL-positive cells is significantly smaller in the TIMP2-KD group than that in the I/R group.
