Figure 2.Sirt1 regulates NO production. Sirt1 regulates endothelial NO synthase (eNOS) at both the transcriptional and post-transcriptional levels via deacetylation, resulting in the generation of NO for vascular protection. NO also positively regulates Sirt1.
