The results show that most of the S₅ genes are enriched in the “Pathways of neurodegeneration-multiple diseases” pathway. In addition, these genes are mainly involved in “Alzheimer Disease”, “Huntington Disease” and other neurodegenerative pathways. (B) The bubble diagram shows the top 8 GO terms that are enriched for important genes. The vertical axis corresponds to the Biological Process (BP), Cell Component (CC), and Molecular Function (MF). The results indicate that most of the S₅ genes are involved in “establishment of protein localization to membrane” and “protein targeting in membrane” biological processes.
