Both Nrf2 knockdown cell lines and wild-type cell lines were given/not given Ang II, with/without SFN treatment. Western blot detected the expression of Nrf2 and downstream antioxidant genes NQO1 and HO-1 (A), TNF-α, 3-NT (B), cleaved caspase-3 (C). TUNEL staining detected apoptotic cells (D).
