Epitalon protects against post-ovulatory aging-related damage of mouse oocytes in vitro

class="figure-viewer-img"

Figure 1. Epitalon decreased the intracellular ROS level. (A) Representative images of ROS fluorescence of in the Control, Aged, and 0.1mM Epitalon-treated aging oocytes. Images were analyzed by Confocal microscopy with identical fluorescence parameters. (B) Quantitative analysis of ROS fluorescence intensity in Control, Aged, 0.05mM, 0.1mM, 1mM, 2mM Epitalon groups. The fluorescence intensity analysis for each oocyte was conducted using Image J software. Data from more than 30 oocytes were analyzed for each group. Significant difference between the Aged and 0.1mM Epitalon-treatment groups was observed (p < 0.01). Data are expressed as mean ± SEM of at least three independent experiments. Scale bar: 20 μm.
