Combined treatment with C16 peptide and angiopoietin-1 confers neuroprotection and reduces inflammation in 3-nitropropionic acid-induced dystonia mice

Detection of CD68 indicated microglia/macrophage activation. Zonula occludens protein-1 (ZO-1) is a marker protein for tight junctions in epithelial cells.
