On day 3 post operation, rats underwent elevated plus-maze test and Y maze test. From day 3 through day 7 post operation, rats underwent Morris water maze test. After Morris water maze test on day 7 post operation, rats were euthanized and collected plasma and brain tissues to prepare further assessments.
