Overexpression of Sir2 in the adult fat body is sufficient to extend lifespan of male and female Drosophila

For males median lifespans were 172 ± 4 h and 185 ± 7 h for control and Sir2 overexpressing flies, respectively. Data are represented as means + SEM.
