WI-38 cells grown to 80% confluency were treated with either 10 ng/ml TNFα /IFN γ alone or in combination with the indicated extracts; at 48 h after treatment, the whole cellular lysates were prepared and subjected to Western blot analysis using antibodies against IL-6 and COX2 as detailed in “Methods”. GAPDH served as a loading control.
