Figure 1. MiR-135a inhibits human NSCLC cell proliferation and invasion in vitro. (A) Real-time PCR was conducted to quantify the endogenous expression of miR-135a in different NSCLC cells. Assays were performed in triplicate, and expression of U6 was used as a normalization control. (B) The effects of miR-135a mimics transfection on A549 and H1299 cells were measured. (C) Assessment of the clonogenic potential of miR-135a-transfected A549 and H1299 cells. The colony forming efficiency of miR-135a mimics-transfected cells was less than that of control cells. (D) The effects of miR-135a mimics on A549 and H1299 cell proliferation were measured by the CCK-8 assay. (E) The invasion assay showed that invasive cells in the miR-135a mimics group were significantly less than those in the control group.
