(C, D) FCM was used to determine RPE cell apoptosis ratio. (E, F) Western Blot was performed to determine the expression levels of pyroptosis associated proteins (Caspase-1, Gasdermin D, NLRP3, IL-1β and IL-18) in RPE cells. (“Hg” means “High-glucose”, “OE-M” means “overexpressed METTL3” and “OE-P” means “Overexpressed PTEN”). Each experiment had at least 3 repetitions, the data were collected and represented as Mean ± SD. “*” means p < 0.05 and “**” means p < 0.01.
