BMAL1 knockdown triggers different colon carcinoma cell fates by altering the delicate equilibrium between AKT/mTOR and P53/P21 pathways

MTT cell proliferation assay (A) and cell counts (B) were used to examine BMAL1-KD and control cells’ proliferation rate for 96h. Stable HCT116 BMAL1-KD but not SW480 BMAL1-KD cells exhibited significantly higher cell counts compared to their control. SW620 BMAL1-KD cells only showed faster growth at 96h.
