Abbreviations: COPD: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; TC: total cholesterol; HDLC: high-density lipoprotein cholesterol; HCY: homocysteine; FPG: fasting plasma glucose. The point for each factor is summed and projected on total point line. A vertical line is projected from total point line to predicted probability bottom scale to obtain the individual probability of COPD or asthma risk.
