CLCA4 inhibits cell proliferation and invasion of hepatocellular carcinoma by suppressing epithelial-mesenchymal transition via PI3K/AKT signaling

(A) The levels of phosphorylated PI3K, total PI3K, phosphorylated AKT and total AKT were detected in HCC cell lines by western blot analysis. Increased expression of phosphorylated PI3K and phosphorylated AKT in CLCA4-silenced cells compared with the control cells. An opposite expression pattern of these genes was observed in CLCA4-transfected cells. Quantification of p-PI3K/PI3K and p-AKT/AKT was showed in (B).
